She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Carpenter and Margaret Carpenter; her former husband Larry; her son Patrick; her brother Bill Carpenter (Daisy); and her niece Julie Grunvald.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence H. Reilly; her children, Anne Dilts (John) of Brandon, VT, John Reilly (Maria) of Barre, VT, Daniel Reilly (Sally) of Concord, MA, Mary Pinard (Frank) of Newport Center, VT and Erin Helmken (Mark) of Moretown, VT; and her sister Margaret Swain of Queensbury, NY. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
