He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorian Merrill and Doreen Merrill (Ladd); his brothers, Bradley Deane Merrill and Dorian "Gary" Merrill, Jr. (Laurel); his grandparents, Arthur, Doris Ladd (Bullock), Clinton and Bessie Merrill (Hunton); and his aunts and uncles, Melvin Ladd, Henry (Viola Gray), Manual Sainz, Stanley (Ethelyn Morse), Deane (Priscilla Merrill), Leonard (Elaine Hoadley) and Vera Merrill.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlene Jennett (Raymond C.) of Barre Town, Kenneth Merrill (Cathy) of Northfield, Douglas Merrill (Rhonda) of Graniteville and Charles Merrill (Carol) of Barre; his nieces and nephews, Justina Jennett of Swanton, Jennifer Jennett Edwards of Concord, Justin Jennett of Barre Town, Logan Merrill of Barre, Skylar O'Riordan of Barre, Ryan Merrill of Barre, Gary "Punkin" Merrill, Jr. of Duxbury, Douglas Merrill of Barre, Felicity Porter of Florida and Mayda Minsk of North Carolina; and his aunts and uncles, Beatrice Sainz of East Barre, Claire Ladd of Berlin and Kenneth Ladd of New Jersey.
