She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gomes and Lorraine Gomes (Lanphere); her husbands, Robert Gates and Charles Rossi; her siblings, Millie O'Neil of Barton, David and Bradley Gomes; her stepfather Everett Goddard; her brother-in-law Edward O'Neil; and her mother-in-law Mae Jowers.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Gates-Wallace (Rick) of Johnson, VT and John Gates (Laurie) of Hardwick, VT; her grandchildren, Jonathan Gates of Hardwick, VT and Marissa of Tiffin, Ohio; her stepsons, Stephen and Scott Rossi of Johnson, VT; her stepmother Narcissa Gomes of Greensboro, VT; her siblings, Jack Gomes (Laura) of Sterling, VA, Linda Mae Clow (Rod) of Hardwick, VT and Sharon Marchetti (Mike) of Palm Coast, FL; her siblings-in-law, Raymond Rossi (Priscilla), Barbara Keough of Florida and Patricia Gates of Florida; and her family Bonnie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
