It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aaron M. Reed of Barre, Vermont, born in Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Frank Reed and Cheryl Reed of Barre; his siblings, Amy (Rob Melna) of Randolph, Alison Reed of Barre and Adam Reed (Kate Roach) of Northfield; his nephews, Tyler Terrien of Rutland, Brett Terrien of Randolph and Sage Slopnick of Barre; his niece Skylar Slopnick of Barre; and his pet Marley.
It is with great comfort that his family understands that through his donation, five other individuals have now been given the opportunity to live and have additional time with their families during this holiday season. Given Aaron's benefits from Barre youth programs, persons wishing to make contributions may consider donations in his memory to the Barre Youth Sports Association or other organizations focused on youth development and community engagement activities.
