He is survived by: his wife Linda Ladieu of Sheldon; his son Robert Gilbert, Jr. (Mellisa) of Sheldon; his grandchildren, Noah, Tony, Amber, Josh, Eric, Brianna and Chelsea; and his sister Janice Sears (Eric Walbridge) of Burlington.
