He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ward Bird and Mary Waters Nash (Bird); and his brother Richard Bird. He is survived by: his brother Bruce Bird; his children, Lisa Bird Higgins and Seth Bird (Tammy); his grandchildren, Julie Bird Hunter (Gregory), Zach Higgins (Alicia Bersnon), Kayla Bird Courtain (Jordan), Kristin Bird Patel (Pratik), Riley and Jenna; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Greyson Courtain and Aarna Patel.
