Waldo G. Potter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 86, Waldo G. Potter of Albany, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Potter and Mary Potter (Farr); his wife Beverly Smith; his sister Carlene Pierce (Potter); and his sisters-in-law, Ardys Goodwin (Glen) and Priscilla Goad (Percy).

He is survived by: his children, Billie Jean Rivers (Richard) of Albany, Gary Potter (Cheryl) of Albany and Jeff Potter (Laura) of Albany; his grandchildren, Julie Lavine (Jeffrey), Nicholas Rivers (Amanda), Jess Potter (Jenny), Emily Hacking (Tyler), Justin Potter and Karen Potter (Logan Masse); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Jamison Lavine, Paislee, Lydia Rivers, Evelynn, Grayson Hacking and Leah Masse; his brother Bruce Potter (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Maurice Pierce and Marty Hilliker (Archie). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund through the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.
