He was predeceased by: his parent George Wise; and his son Merlin Johnstone. He is survived by: his parent Lulu Helms Wise; his wife Susan L. Tack Wise of Pownal; and his children, Linda Perna of Virginia, Margaret Cart of Florida, Esther Loung of Florida, Donna Patchen of Florida, Kim Campbell of Maine, Audrey Wise of Connecticut, Penny Michaud of Connecticut, Karen Therrien of Rhode Island and Wesley Johnstone of Vermont. He is also survived by 27 Grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
