He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Acton and Joseph Acton; and his siblings, Dennis and Stephanie. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kirsty and Jamie; his granddaughter Eliza; his son-in-law Eric Scott; his brothers-in-law, Charles and Peter McNicoll; and also Angie Craig.
