She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Vernon and Emily Louise Dow (Dawson); and her sisters, Nancy A. Greene and Bobbi Joe Dow. She is survived by: her husband Timothy J. Bortell of Bennington; her children, Carmen Bortell (Joe Taylor) of Bennington, Dana Bortell (Tawnee) of Bennington and Matthew Bortell (Katie Meehan) of Bennington; her grandchildren, Emma, Alexander, Austin, Catalina, Brody, Storm, Amarah, Maddy and Matt, Jr.; and her great grandchild Gabriel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
