She was predeceased by: her parents, Mills Joseph Powell and Mary Lizzy Turner Powell; and her daughter Mary Alice Saunders. She is survived by: her son Tommy; her daughter-in-law Terry Saunders; her grandchildren, Chris Saunders, Tobey Griffin (Tony) and Joe Saunders; her great grandchildren, Ian, Tori, Lilly and Bella; and her siblings, Betty Sue Pippins (Roy), Charles Powell (Cheryl) and Ed Powell (Carolyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
