Carroll Ray left this world on January 20, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fleetwood McKinley Turner, Sr. and Margaret Sarah Hatfield Turner; and his brothers, William "Peter" Turner and Franklin Turner. He is survived by: his wife Jane Howell Turner; his daughter Daphne Turner Saul; his grandchildren, Sarah Saul and Zachary Saul; his siblings, Eleanor T. Wilkins (Fred), Jackie T. Redd (Lynn) and Fleetwood M. Turner, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Janet Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
