He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Smith and Mary Smith; his brothers, Tommy and Michael Smith; and his brother-in-law Everett Howell.

He is survived by: his siblings, Curtis Allen Smith and Judy Smith Howell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
