With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wallace Dillard Jr. (Yorktown, Virginia), born in Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Andrew, Irene Bailey, Jeremiah and Elizabeth Dillard; and his brother Andrew Dillard.
He is survived by: his parents, Wallace Sylvester Dillard Sr. and Ellen Jean Dillard; his daughter Rhakitta Latai Carter; his granddaughters, Essence Michelle and Ebony Irene Carter; and his aunts, Alice Johnson and Claudette Cooke (Charles).
Viewing was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home (3009 Chestnut Ave, Newport News, VA 23607). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Prospect Baptist Church (408 Darby Rd, Yorktown, VA 23693).
