He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora E. Hopson, and Vernon E. Hopson, Sr.; and also Ronald Hopson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Hopson; his children, Nicole P. Hopson and Edward C. Hopson; his grandson Shyne Simmons; his sister Karen Lynette Jenkins (Clinton); and his parents-in-law, Elaine and Thomas Evans, Sr.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church - Yorktown (105 Goosley Rd, Yorktown, VA 23690). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
