It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lou (Yorktown, Virginia), who passed away on May 24, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Melson, Sr. and Virginia Rolston; her husband Marvin Major, Sr.; her siblings, David Melson, Jr. and Betty Rew (Jack); and also Jeanne Mercer (Will).
She is survived by: her daughter Marvin Major, Jr. (Virginia) of Lanexa; her sister Peggy Fink (Gary) of Yorktown; and her aunt Thelma Hill of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
