Berga; her grandchildren, Morgan Weaver, Brock and Chance Berga of Southfield, MI; her godchildren, Casey and Cameron Berga of Ann Arbor, MI; her siblings, Barbara Jean Burge, Kim Combs, Carlos Combs Sr. (Ozene), Keith Combs (Regina) and Lonnie Combs (Sandra); her sister-in-law Aster Bekele (Addis Ababa); her nieces and nephews, Tinnya Hopson, Shawn Hopson (Capitol Heights, MD), Jaye Powell (Louis), Norma Sparks, Andrea Hopson-Cain (Linnie), Carlos Clayton Combs Jr. and Taye Chala of Killeen, TX; her cousin Kebret Woldearegay; her close friend Taddesse GebreGiorgis of Bernadette-Rochester, MI; and her caregiver Nicole Sampson of Southfield, MI.
A wake was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (3911 Big Bethel Rd, Yorktown, VA 23693). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
