She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta P. Brooks and Elver Lee Brooks of Yorktown, Virginia.. She is survived by: her son Dominque Brooks of Corolla; her siblings, Elver "Slim" Brooks (Pinky), George "Baby Lee" Brooks, Horace Brooks, Stan Brooks and Penny Brooks-Boone (Roy); her nieces, Dion Brooks, Chiquita Ross-Carrie, Dawn Outlaw (Lamont), Takiyah Brooks, Kanika Wyatt and Kiana Lawrence (Trey); her nephew Andre Brooks; her great-nephew Kevin Brooks; and her close friend Helen Wyatt. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
