She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Charles and Mary Anita Brocksmith; and her husband David C. Jacobs. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Katherine L. Hall of Christiansburg, VA and Curry Hall (Chris); her grandchildren, Madeline, Christian and Lillian; and her brother David Brocksmith.
Sara also enjoyed painting and took painting classes until her Alzheimer's journey began. Sara's children ask that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter in Newport News, VA or the Alzheimer's Association.
