We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2023, at the age of 87, Peggy Ann (Gay) Brown (Yorktown, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Gay (Wells) and Willie Rudolph Gay; her daughter Karen Frenier (Brown); her granddaughter Katharine Rivera (Frenier); and her siblings, Mary Brown, Evelyn Glover, Willie Rudolph Gay Jr., Emma Lou Pippen and Marvin Gay.

She is survived by: her husband Clarence Emmitt Brown; her son David Brown (Laura Themins); her grandchildren, Rebecca Frenier Jones (Randy Jones), Robert Frenier (Kim Mills) and Mark Frenier; her grandchild-in-law Christian Rivera; and her great grandchildren, Natalia Frenier, Thomas Frenier and Maedyn Rivera.
