She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert T. Hornsby, Sr. and Helen Young Hornsby; her husband William N. Ruff; her son William Thomas "Tommy" Ruff; her brother Robert "Slim" T. Hornsby, Jr.; and her close friend Irene "Teddy" Stephens.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Ruff McClure (Jackie); her grandson Bailey W. McClure; her brother Burnley Hornsby; her nephews, Roger Hornsby (Lisa) and Robert Hornsby (Cindy); her niece Loralie Sewell (Jimmy); and her daughters, Crystal Boyd (Rodney) and Donna Moore (Judson).
