With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Katherine Rowell Schell (Yorktown, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Schell; her children, Barclay Schell (Rebecca) and Melissa Stark (Richard); her sisters, Debbie Alger and Karen Woodward; her sister-in-law Pat Schell; her mother-in-law Mary Anne Schell; and her grandchildren, Amber Schell, Carsyn Schell, Ethan Stark, Tyler Stark and Naomi Stark.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Grafton Christian Church (109 Brick Church Rd, Yorktown, VA 23692). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Grafton Christian Church, honoring her generous and loving spirit.
