With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Potts Clayton of Yorktown, Virginia, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mimms Potts, Jr. and Shirley Sawyer Potts; her husband Howard V. Clayton; and her siblings, Paula Crain, Shirley Coward and Paul M. Potts.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Clayton Davis (Bruce) of McLean and John Harrison Clayton (Sharon) of St. Paul; her grandchildren, Clayton Davis (Laura), Caroline Davis Stevens (Paul) and William Davis; her great grandchildren, Brennan Davis, Nikolai Davis, Thomas Stevens and Luke Stevens; her brother-in-law Howard Shaw; and her nieces and nephews, Shirley-Paul Knox (Todd) and James Coward.
