He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther "Earl" Simmons and MaryLou Simmons; his grandparents, Luther, Violet Simmons, Hugh and Dorthy Robinson; and his son Brandon Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Simmons; his brother Harold Simmons (Pete); and his nephew Julian Saunders. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
