With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lillian Pierce of Yorktown, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lillian left this world on October 2, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Cook, Sr. and Bertha L. Wilkerson; her husband Alfred Pierce; and her siblings, John E. Cook, Jr., McCoy Mac Cook, Dewey Cook and Richard Melvin Cook.
She is survived by: her son Michael Bruce Lucas (Mary); her granddaughter Sonya Settles (Arnold); her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kyler and Savonne; her grandsons, Eric White and Mikal Lucas (Samirah); and her niece Shirley Parks. She is also survived by her son and three daughters; many cousins; and a host of other nieces/great-nieces and nephews/great nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church - Yorktown (105 Goosley Rd, Yorktown, VA 23690). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
