The passing of June Kathleen Yaskowsky of Yorktown, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Oleson and Olga Oleson; and her sister Elaine DeMilia. She is survived by: her children, Tanya Herrmann (Michael) and Michael Yaskowsky (Holly); her sisters, MaryAnn Brennan and Martha Skinner; and her grandchildren, Kristina Herrmann and Matthew Herrmann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Basil the Great Antiochian Orthodox Church (1520 Todds Ln, Hampton, VA 23666). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or St. Basil the Great Antiochian Orthodox Church in Hampton.
