James Lewis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hudgins and Roselyn Tabb Hudgins; and his siblings, Charles, William, Herbert, Conway Hudgins, Anne Emerson, Betty Tinker and MaryEllen.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Metcalf Hudgins; his children, Christy (Scott) and Scott (Amy); his siblings, Edward Hudgins, Linda Barkley, Brenda Welch and Judy Roundy; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Shelby, Drew and Ella. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1004 Yorktown Rd, Yorktown, VA 23693). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
