It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Moore Montgomery of Yorktown, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Montgomery and Jacqueline Montgomery; and his brothers, David Montgomery and Dwight Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Montgomery; his sons, Matthew Gordon Montgomery (Claiborne) and Jackson Grady Montgomery; his grandchildren, Mason Montgomery and Hayes Montgomery; and his brothers, Jonathan Montgomery and Randy Montgomery.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Emmaus Baptist Church (814 Yorktown Rd, Poquoson, VA 23662). A reception was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety or to Sentara Heart Hospital.
