With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Louise Laster of Yorktown, Virginia, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maryanne DeGennaro and Oscar DeGennaro; and her son Michael David Laster (Annerose). She is survived by: her husband David Laster; her children, James R. Rathmann (Meggan) and Stephanie Wilkinson (Justin); her grandchildren, Kaylee, Meadow, Serenity Rathmann, Dakota Wilkinson, Audrey, Cassady Laster and Austin Wilkinson; and her great grandchildren, Braxton and Madison Shackelford.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
