She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Emory" Payne and Helen Payne; her daughter Linda Schoffstall Reynolds; her husband George Nichols Schoffstall; and her siblings, Virginia, Howard, Dorothy, Martha, Louise and Philip.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Ann Barker, Robert Joseph Schoffstall, John Bruce Schoffstall and Ellen Schoffstall McNeill; her granddaughter Cecilia Sprouse Reece; and her sister Rachel. She is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
