He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas Miles and Betsy Davidson; and his children, Karen Armstrong and Douglas "Ross" Miles. He is survived by: his children, Robert Theodore Miles and Emilie Miles; his daughter-in-law Lindsey Rebecca Miles; his stepbrothers, Jim Davidson and Buzz Davidson; his half-brothers, Bill Miles and Johnny Miles; and his cousins, Deborah Stainback and Holly Bryant. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
