She was predeceased by: her husband Charles D. Jarrett; her parents, Edna Dixon of Virginia and Seth Lankford, Jr.; her siblings, Eunice Darnell, Betty Brittingham, George, Jasper, Otis and AC Lankford; and her son David W. Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia G. Major (Marvin B. Major); and her stepchildren, Kenneth Jarrett, Dennis Jarrett and Michelle Davis. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
