He is survived by: his wife Jean Rae Hulstine; his sons, Zachary Hulstine (Jessica) of Mathews and Wyatt Hulstine (Brittany) of Yorktown; his close friend Finley Hulstine; his brothers, Boyd (Dana) and Brad; and his sister-in-law Mary.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the York Assembly of God (7826 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23692). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Marlbank Farm Clubhouse (115 Old Landing Rd, Yorktown, VA 23692).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Virginia Living Museum where he worked and volunteered, or York County Fire and Life Safety.
