He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy P. Utne. He is survived by: his wife Susan Macauley Utne; his children, Elise Utne and Calvin Utne; his father Bruce S. Utne; and his siblings, Stephanie Cooker (John) and Bruce A. Utne (Jenny). He is also survived by five nieces, two nephews.
