It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Barbara Winzer in Yorktown, Virginia, born in Rockville Centre, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eiser and Estelle Eiser. She is survived by: her husband Colonel Dale Winzer; her son Christopher Winzer (Leah); her grandson Andrew Winzer; her great grandchild Charlotte Winzer; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Winzer and Glenn Winzer (Jo-Anne); her nephew Bryan Winzer (Stephanie); her niece Sarah Strongoski (Jared); and her cousins, Lloyd (Julie), Janet and Lois.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home-Denbigh Chapel (12893 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23608). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (116 Denbigh Blvd, Newport News, VA 23608).
