He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Hale; and his children, Robert Russell of Chilhowie, VA, Dixie Russell of Richmond, VA, Donna Russell of Wytheville, VA, Ruben (Renea Russell), Sandra Russell Howard "Angel" (Mingo Howard), Terry (Gregory) and Tina (Darrell Blackmon). He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 49 Great- Grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren.
