She was predeceased by: her parents, Page Blevins and Louise Blevins; and her husband Arthur Walter Sawyers. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah E. Plummer; her grandchildren, Kamani Plummer and Makari Plummer of Galax, VA; and her siblings, Brenda Funk (Charles) of Marion, VA, Ronald Blevins (Sandra) of Wytheville, VA and Anthony Blevins (Judy) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Barnett Funeral Home (325 Church St, Wytheville, VA 24382). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
