Ruth Alma Spraker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2024, at the age of 100, Ruth Alma Spraker of Wytheville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ruth Alma's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ruth Alma has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Umberger and Bertha Umberger; and her husband Lester Spraker. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Jones and Donna Lambert; her sister Paige Fielder; and her grandchildren, Billy Lambert, Casey Jones, Brian Lambert, Timmy Jones and Kristin Jones. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Calvary Church (1113 Slate Spring Branch Rd, Wytheville, VA 24382). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Davis Cemetery (227 Davis Cemetery Rd, Wytheville, VA 24382).
