She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gravley and Audrey Tate Gravley; the father of her children Roger Lee Carpenter, Sr.; her sister Liz Thomas; and her sister-in-law Geraldine Gravley (Angel).
She is survived by: her significant other Gary Horton; her children, Roger "Cricket" (Angie Carpenter), Jonathan (Becca Roberts), Melissa Tatro (James Wilkie), Rebecca "Becky" (Rex Bowers), Mary Ellen Carpenter (Aahron King) and Cheyanne Stone (Jacob Weeks); her siblings, Mae (Thurman Koger), Richard (Mary Gravley), Roby Gravley of Independence, Billy Gravley of Max Meadows and David (Liz Gravley); her niece Teresa Edmonds; and her close friend Jason Armstrong. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many extended family.
