She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Shinault and Ellen Shinault (Peak); her children, Jim "Boof" Blevins, Christopher "Pete" Blevins and Lynn Blevins; and her siblings, Howard "Jim" Shinault, Wilbert "Jake" Shinault, Daniel "Gabe" Shinault, Steve Shinault, Rose Shinault Hamlin, Marjorie "Polly" Shinault, Melba "Minnie" Shinault, Patricia "Chi Chi" Jennings and LeJeanne "Suki" Cassell.
She is survived by: her daughter Lorrie; her son-in-law Scott Mitchell; her grandchildren, Tyler Blevins (Kaitlyn), Coty Blevins (Megan), Ryan Mitchell and Ella Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Weston, Maverick Dawson, Maverick Paul and Nova; and her brothers, Jack Shinault (Susie), Preston Shinault of Wytheville and Merle Shinault (Kay) of Groveport, Ohio..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barnett Funeral Home (325 Church St, Wytheville, VA 24382). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
