He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Trivett and Rebecca Hart Trivett; his wife Janet Sharpe Trivett; and his siblings, Allie Trivett, Arlie Trivett, Edgar Trivett, Mary Ossie Trivett of Mouth, Wilma Trivett Strout, J. D. Trivett, Herman Trivett, Betty Trivett Barker of Nokesville, VA and Bonnie Trivett.
He is survived by: his children, Chris (Carey Trivett) of Mouth and Michelle (Mark Severt) of Locust Grove, VA; his grandchildren, Victoria Tavares of Lansing, NC, Heather Bliss of Locust Grove, VA and Isaiah Severt of Locust Grove, VA; his stepgrandson Brandon Hamm of Whitetop, VA; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Rowan and Mileena Taveres of Lansing, NC; his siblings, Ken, Daniel, Ola Mae Trivett Sheets of Stony Point, NC, Beulah Trivett Blevins of Whitetop, VA and Barbara Trivett Blevins of Whitetop, VA; and his caregiver Beverly Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
