We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2023, James Alan Walters of Wytheville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Manley and Emma Cordelia Walters; and his brother Frank Walters. He is survived by: his wife Lou Walters; his children, Terry Allison (Paul), Tuffy Walters (Lawn), Mike Walters (Cyndi) and Dean Walters (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jeanetta Frye (Jeff), Leslie Colucci (Tom), Anna Minutella (Nick), Nikki Gardner (John), Michael Allison, Jessica Camden (Eric), Martha Sharitz (Jacob), Alan Walters (Kelly), Emily Walters and Andrew Walters; and his siblings, Geneva Wohlford and Charles "Tinker" Walters. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
