He is survived by: his wife Linda Alford Dowdy of Wytheville; his stepdaughters, April (Brian Lambert) of Rural Retreat and Tonya (Dennis Kell) of Marion; his stepgrandchildren, Devin Bise, Courtnie Bise (James), Hunter Kell, Ryan Kell, Dustin Kell, Brianna Beckett (Seth) and Alyssa Lambert (Jacob); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Adalynn Beckett and Allie Halsey.
