He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamerto Bascope and Sinforsa Vega of Bascope; his wife Alice Gail Brackens Bascope; his son Mark Andrew Bascope; and his brother Mario Bascope.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary Alice Bascope; his grandchildren, Miranda Turpin (Trent Oneil), Marisa Turpin, Jackson Turpin and Bella Bascope; and his siblings, Jose Bascope (Linda), Edwin Bascope (Ana), Fremiot Bascope, Rosa Santiago and Delia Reuter (Nick).
