It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glaydese Johnson Rider of Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Reece and Gaye Liddius Crockett Johnson; and her siblings, Robert Eddystone Johnson, Mildred Maynard, Dorothy Jones, Ralph Johnson and Floella Mercer.

She is survived by: her sons, David (Joyce Lephew) and Frank Rider of Goodview, VA; her brother Wayne; her sister-in-law Brenda Johnson of Wytheville; her grandchildren, Valerie Cline, Stacey Wertheimer (Desmond) and Russell Lephew (Samantha); and her great grandchild Madison Jo Lephew. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
