He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Hensel Funk and Mary Jane Fain. He is survived by: his children, Brittany Aileen Songer (Sammy), Dwight Hensel Funk III (Melissa), Christina Lee Byrd (Ricky) and Michelle Marie Smith (Stanley).
