Cecile Hayton Mabe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecile Hayton Mabe of Wytheville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecile Hayton Mabe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hayton and Blanche Sharitz Sage; her husband Arthur Wesley Mabe; her daughter Donna Lynn Jackson; and her sister Shirley Colon.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda (Robert McGuire), Brandi (Mark Bass) and Tim of Wytheville; and her daughter-in-law Connie Mabe of Wytheville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnett Funeral Home (325 Church St, Wytheville, VA 24382). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the West End Cemetery (1825 W Lee Hwy, Wytheville, VA 24382).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Life Changers Church.
