He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lanter Phillips; his children, Cliff Phillips, Daniel West of Wytheville and Melissa Phillips Burch; his son-in-law Pat Burch; his sisters, Linda Ruth Dixon and Tammy Primm of Wytheville; and his nephews, Danny Dixon, Dennis Dixon and Chuck Dixon.
