William Griffith Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Griffith Sr. of Woolwine, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl A. Griffith and Merlie Jewel Morrison Griffith; his wife Dorothy R. "Dotty" Griffith; and his siblings, Lillian Frances Griffith and Richard Eugene Griffith.

He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Harless Belcher), Jessica (Dean Belcher) and William P. "Bud", Jr.; his daughter-in-law Theresa Griffith of Woolwine; his grandchildren, Mike Hall (Carmen), Alison Harris (Eddie), Wesley Belcher, Jacy, Beth Savage (Anthony) and Tiffany Kitchen (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Danielle Harris, Austin Carlyle, Hannah Hopkins, Norah Rule and Otto Savage; his siblings, Lena (Linwood Martin), Linda (Douglas Dunlap) and Bruce; and his sister-in-law Cindy Griffith of Stuart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
