She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph W. Turner and Lillian Conner Turner; and her grandson Jesse Wood Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband Benny Wood; her children, Wendy Sheppard of Woolwine and Justin Wood of Woolwine; her grandchildren, Sarah Sheppard (Auztin Parrott) and Kirstin Wood; her great grandchild Hazel Parrott; her sister Stephanie Martin (Terry) of Woolwine; her brother-in-law Ronnie Wood (Peggy) of Winston Salem; and her pet Emma. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
